Plettenberg Bay is a coastal city along the Garden Route and is the true definition of a hidden gem.
It’s located in the Western Cape and has fabulous sandy beaches, but unfortunately does not get the international attention that it deserves.

Unlike major cities in South Africa, Plettenberg Bay offers us the chance to walk barefoot in as little as a bikini in the great summer season.
The pristine beaches draw the attention of almost 160 000 travelers each year but these travellers often do not explore the indigenous forest areas which could leave you lost for words with its infinite beauty.

A cruise of Keurbooms River Nature Reserve is a definite must as the selfies you can get would earn you an immense number of likes on Instagram 🙂
